FEEDING GUIDELINES

Please use the provided information as an initial recommendation only and adjust as needed based on age, size, activity level, breed and environment. Give your cat access to clean, cool, fresh water at all times.

TRANSITIONING TO RAWZ

To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5-7 day period, increasing the amount of RAWZ® each day, so that you are feeding 100% RAWZ® by day 7.

TRANSITION

Transition your cat gently! Please follow these general guidelines. When transitioning to a new food, it is important to pay attention to your pet’s stool. A healthy diet and good digestion should result in a stool that is formed but soft.

MOISTURE IMPORTANCE

Moisture is vital to your pet’s health. If you feel your cat doesn’t drink much on their own throughout the day, please add moisture to your pet’s food; whether it comes from a canned food, broth or water. Water or broth should make up at least 20% of your pet’s meal. For best results, add water or broth and wait a few minutes before serving.

BALANCED NUTRITION AND DIGESTIBILITY OF INGREDIENTS

Balanced nutrition, or the complete portfolio of the ingredients, not single data points of nutrients, are essential for your pet’s health. In addition to nutritional balance, the digestibility of ingredients and the bioavailability of protein and amino acid profiles are also crucial for your pet’s health.
